Technical Development Solutions (TDS) is a member of Al Mousa Group, a Saudi Arabian conglomerate with over 50 years of experience in the Saudi market. We are among 16 companies within the group engaged in diverse business activities such as contracting, trading, pumps, generators, consultancy, and optical spare parts. TDS operates as the consulting arm of the group, specializing in natural resources (water, mining, and geothermal energy) exploration, monitoring, and exploitation, as well as environmental/engineering characterization and monitoring.

In the field of water, we offer comprehensive solutions encompassing various stages. These include conducting geophysical and hydrogeological studies for exploration and characterization purposes identifying the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of studied aquifers. Moreover, TDS could perform/lead the designing and planning of drilling programs, manage the drilling process, and provide services after drilling, such as pumping tests, pump selection, and well logging. Additionally, we supply monitoring equipment for surface water, groundwater, and climate parameters on a watershed scale. This includes monitoring well devices for measuring water level and quality, rainfall stations, meteorological stations, real-time discharge devices in wadis, and conducting groundwater flow and solute transport modeling. We also specialize in hydrological modeling and data management for water resources and policies.

Furthermore, we specialize in a comprehensive range of services dedicated to surface and groundwater quality, water risk assessment, and water economics. For geothermal energy, TDS offers comprehensive solutions to our clients, covering exploration, planning, design, and implementation. More specifically, TDS can utilize deep passive and active non-seismic geophysical methods to fully characterize the subsurface and define the tectonic regime of the study area and the field/fluids’ geometry, optimizing the drilling’s results. Moreover, TDS can offer monitoring services by conducting detailed microseismic measurements during the operation of the geothermal field and enhancing, through the data, the dynamic subsurface model.

Finally, regarding the involvement of TDS in engineering and environmental projects, our company can apply all the modern (seismic, DC, EM, potential field) shallow geophysical methods to fully characterize the subsurface for any engineering (underground structures, dams, bridge foundation, tunnels, highways, large/small buildings, etc.) purposes. The same methods can be used for characterizing contaminated lands, quantifying the contamination, and monitoring the plume/contaminant transport to the subsurface and the aquifer.
